What is Cypress?
White Cypress Pine (Commonly - Callitris
glaucophylla) is also known as
Australian Cypress

A native Australian softwood
·
Lighter coloured sapwood and a dark
heartwood.
·
Natural durability – class 2 (same
as river red gum)
·
Minimal shrinkage.
·
Ideal for dressing – finishes very
smooth
·
Mostly harvested from plantations
& government approved sources.
·
A cheaper alternative to many
hardwoods.

Blanks or Decking
- Usual size is 68 x 19 finished size.
- Excellent value alternative to hardwoods.
- Suitable for flat baluster or motif panel fences
- Stock sizes from 0.9m to 2.4m
- Square cut flat top available.
- We do not recommend using picket blanks for decking use. There is
a special decking profile available with reeding on the bottom.
